ABOUT

I'm a highly experienced filmmaker, crafting stylish and popular films for international television. My work comprises award-winning drama documentaries and history films, true crime, observational documentaries and popular science, including two films for the much celebrated and BAFTA nominated James May’s Toy Stories for the BBC.

I have extensive experience in true crime. In 2021 I produced, directed and shot two films for the Netflix series I Am a Stalker. Currently I'm Showrunning Murder in the Wicked West, a six part series for Discovery ID.

Occasionally my films deal with difficult subject matter. My critically acclaimed drama Escape from Auschwitz, which was shortlisted at NY Festivals tells the incredible story of the incarceration and getaway of two prisoners from the Nazi's death camp. My feature length film Mid Air Collision Over Britain, dramatises the chilling ‘what if’ scenario of two passenger jets colliding over southeast England. And my harrowing feature length film Treblinka: Hitler's Killing Machine, which won a Cine Golden Eagle Award, follows the work of forensic archaeologist Dr Caroline Sturdy-Colls as she uncovers the previously unknown location of Treblinka's gas chambers and unmarked mass graves.

In 2013, I co-founded Snap TV, a London based production company, where among other projects I series directed the exciting 10 part global culinary adventure Ainsley Eats the Streets.

Producing engaging content for the global television market, my work has been screened on Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Discovery Networks, National Geographic, Smithsonian Channel, Channel 5 and PBS to name but a few.

I am based primarily in Toronto Canada but also work in the UK and the USA.

I regularly work remotely.
